The Long Case

The challenge of the long case lies in the diversity of cases and diagnoses that can be presented. You may be given a patient with hip arthritis, or a bone dysplasia or brachial plexus case. If you get a simple case such as hip and knee arthritis, then you must be perfect. If the short cases are about demonstrating individual signs, the long cases are about diagnosing and then managing an individual patient. There are two elements to the long case
